Video Poker

This arcade game is widely known and very accessible to novice players. The principle is ridiculously simple. It consists in having the best hand in two deals. Some video poker offer multiple hands, in which case the bets will be multiplied by the number of lines.

How to play video poker

Once his bet placed, the player clicks to draw a hand
5 cards appear on the screen
The player selects those he wants to keep (in multi hand video poker, these cards will be held for each line)
The player then draws new cards and this second draw will be final

Poker Hands

Here are the different possible winning hands

• A pair of jacks or higher : payout 1 :1
• 2 pairs of any cards : winning payout is 2:1
• Three of a kind : 3 cards of the same value : payout 3:1
• Straight : a continuous sequence of 5 cards of any color : payout 3:1
• Flush : 5 cards of the same color not in sequence : payout 6:1
• Full house : three of a kind + a pair : payout 9:1
• Quads (4 of a kind) : 4 cards of the same rank + 1 card: payout 25:1
• Straight Flush: 5 cards in sequence, all of the same suit.
• Royal Flush : straight flush with the highest rank (Ace, king, queen, jack and ten of the same suit) payout: 250:1
