The first batch of spanish license applications has ended on December 14th. 62 operators were candidates. In the end, the spanish regulator has delivered 58 gaming licenses, with 32 of them being obtained by national actors.
As we were writing in this post, Spain is about to liberalise its online gambling market starting next January. It is already anticipating this opening by delivering its first licenses. Denmark did the same lastly, as we mentioned here.
