Following the suspension of Full Tilt Poker’s license by both France and the Alderney authority - reported respectively in this news and in this other one – other poker sites have consequently experienced an immediate growth.
The online gaming site that has benefited the most from Full Tilt Poker’s difficulties is Everest Poker. Last week for instance its traffic on .com went up 11% for real money games. Three weeks after Full Tilt shut its doors, Everest Poker experienced a 62% increase in revenue.
There is another big winner in the Full Tilt Poker crisis - PartyPoker, which registered a 8% increase in traffic in just one week. Since Full Tilt’s closure, PartyPoker saw its turnover going up by 46%.
According to iGamingFrance, Full Tilt Poker has lost something like 9,300 players, not all of which have found an alternative gaming destination yet. In fact, the number of new members who have signed up to other poker sites since Full Tilt’s closure is of just 5,500.
