Craps rules

Craps is a betting table game depending on the dice throw. The player bets on several fields on the table and then rolls the dice. The first dice throw is called the �come out roll�. If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the point is established. The dealer will place an object on the table next to the number in question. However the round ends immediately if the total of 2, 3, 7, and 11 or 12 is obtained. This is called a craps. The dices will be thrown again until the point is established or 7 is rolled again.

Types of Craps bets

Pass line bet

It is made before the first throw of the round by placing the bet on pass line on the table.

• If 7 or 11 is rolled, the player wins and is paid 1 to 1.
• If 2, 3 or 12 is rolled, the player loses.
• If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the number becomes the point.

In order to win the point has to be established before 7 (pays 1 to 1), otherwise the player lose.

Don�t pass line

It is made before the first throw of the round by placing the bet on don�t pass line on the table.

• If 2 or 3 is rolled, the player wins (pays 1 to 1).
• If 7 or 11 is rolled the player loses.
• If 12 is rolled the player immediately collects his bet.
• If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the point is established. To win, 7 must be drawn before the point. It pays 1 to 1. Otherwise the player loses.

Come bet

It is made before the first throw of the round by placing the bet on come on the table,

• The player wins if 7 or 11 is rolled. It pays 1 to 1.
• The player loses if 2, 3 or 12 is rolled.
• If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the number becomes the point come and come bet is placed again underneath 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 on the table.

In order to win, the come point has to be established before the 7 otherwise the player loses.

Don�t come

It is made before the first throw of the round by placing the bet on don�t come on the table,

• If 2 or 3 is rolled, the player wins. It pays 1 to 1.
• The player loses if 7 or 11 is rolled.
• If 12 is drawn, the player immediately collects his bet.
• If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the number becomes the come point and �come� is placed again on 4, 5, 6 8, 9 or 10 on top of the table.

Odds

It is an additional bet on the bets mentioned above. It is made after the first throw.

Field

It is made by placing the bet on the box field on the table.

• The player wins if 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 is rolled.
• If 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 is rolled it pays 1 to 1.
• If 2 is rolled, it pays 2 to 1.
• If it is 12, it pays 3 to 1.

Big six

It is made by placing the bet on the big 6 on the table.

• The player wins if 6 is rolled before 7.
• It pays 1 to 1.

Big 8

It is made by placing the bet on the box big 8 on the table.

• The player wins if 8 is rolled before 7.
• It pays 1 to 1.

Buy

The player bets that 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 will be drawn before 7. He places the selected number on the line 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 on the table. The bet pays 6 to 5 for a 6 or 8, 3 to 2 for 5 or 9 and 2 to 1 for a 4 or 10. The bank deducts 5% from the winnings of this bet.

Lay

The player bets that 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 will be rolled before 7. He places the desired number on the line 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 10 on the table. The bet pays 5 to 6 for 6 or 8, 2 to 3for a 5or 9 and 1 to 2 for a 4 and 10.

Any seven

It is made by placing the bet on seven on the table,

• The player wins if 7 is drawn in the next throw.
• It pays 4 to 1.

Any eleven

It is made by placing the bet on the area11 on the table,

• The player wins if 11 is rolled in the next toss.
• It pays 15 to 1.

Any twelve

It is made by placing the bet on the area twelve on the table,

• The player wins win if 12 is rolled in the next toss.
• It pays 15 to 1.

Aces

It is made by placing aces bet on the table,

• The player wins if 2 is rolled in the next toss.
• It pays 15 to 1.

Horn

It is made by placing chips on the box horn on the table,

• The player wins if 2, 3 or 12 is rolled in the next toss
• It pays 15 to 1 if 3 is rolled and 10 to 1 for 2 or 12.

Hardway

A Hardway bet bets that the shooter will roll a 4, 6, 8, or 10 as doubles (2+2, 3+3, 4+4, or 5+5) before rolling a 7. The Hardway bet is placed in the box on the Craps table that contains the two dice that correspond to the number of the doubles. It pays 7 to 1 when 4 or 10 is drawn, 9 to 1 for 6 or 8.
